HOW DID YOU MEET?

We meet at a party where Adrian was Djing, When the night came to the end he knew he couldn’t leave without talking to me, he asked someone what my name was and messaged me  on Facebook. I couldn’t resist myself so I went and talked to him and that was the start of our love story.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE?

Adrian took me out on our first date the very next day after we met. He picked me up from my house, drove me to this beautiful restaurant and then surprised me with bowling afterwards. It was the sweetest date I had ever been on.

WHO PROPOSED & HOW?

Adrian proposed 2 days after my 23rd birthday. He said that he wanted to take me out on a picnic for my birthday. We dressed up and went to Mt Annan Botanical gardens. We enjoyed a beautiful picnic together and then he said I have a surprise for you, I need to blind fold you. There I was with my eyes closed standing in the middle of the beautiful botanical gardens. He said take your blind fold off, I then look down and see him on one knee. I am beyond shocked but full of happiness I scream YES. I then look down at the beautiful ring and cry of happiness. It was the perfect surprise.

 

NOW FOR THE EXCITING PART, TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT RING?

Adrian surprised me with it, he designed it up and got it made. It is a beautiful emerald cut with a halo around it. It is beyond perfect.

WHERE DID YOU FALL IN LOVE  WITH YOUR DRESS & WHY?

I fell in love with my dress from @bridesinlove in Wetherill park. After trying on numerous dresses my mum asked the lady to go and pick a dress for me to try on. When I saw her bring it out I was shocked because it’s something I wouldn’t usually go for but thought I would try it on anyways. I then put it on and walk out of the fitting room and my mum saw me, and her reaction is WOW, it’s so beautiful and that’s when I knew it was the one. I loved everything about it, it had the wow effect I wanted, but I also loved the detail. It was my dream dress.

WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT FOR YOU AT YOUR WEDDING?

My best moment of the wedding was when Adrian and I did our first dance. We had been planning it and practicing it for months and to be able to perform it in from of all our family and friends was so special. It was as if it was just me and Adrian in the room, we were smiling and just having so much fun.

WHAT  WERE YOUR FAVOURITE DETAILS?

My favourite details were when Adrian and I memorised our vows. It was so special being able to look at each other and really be in the moment.

My other favourite detail was asking my mum to walk me down the aisle as well as my dad. Both my parents have done so much for me so it was truly so special having them both by myside.

WHAT  OTHER ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OTHER BRIDES?

The advice I would give to other brides is to smile every second of the day and enjoy it. I can not believe how the day flew by, it goes so quickly so try and take everything in.

WHAT IS MARRIED LIFE LIKE ? ANY ADVICE?

Married life is so special and fun, I love making so many more memories and just being stress free from all the wedding planning. It feels so good to just live in the moment and learn/ grow from each other.
